Hornblow/Palmetto Records released the self-titled debut album by Brooklyn trio Moon Hooch on June 25, 2013. The album was previously only available at the band’s live performances. The new version includes all-new artwork and an additional song, “Mega Tubes,” featuring singer Alena Spanger — the only track with vocals on the otherwise instrumental album. Watch the video for “Megatubes” here.

Moon Hooch recorded their self-titled debut album at The Bunker Studio in Brooklyn in the space of one 24-hour period. Their fanatical rehearsal regimen and hours-long busking sessions had prepared them well; most of the 13 songs were recorded in a single take.
